1. 01Acceptance of Terms

   By accessing or using CyberAcad ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform. We may update these terms at any time; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

2. 02Eligibility

   You must be at least 13 years old to use CyberAcad. If you are under 18, you represent that a parent or guardian has reviewed and consented to these terms on your behalf.

3. 03Account Responsibilities

   You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree not to share your account, impersonate another user, or create multiple accounts to gain an unfair advantage. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. 04Acceptable Use

   You agree not to: (a) use the Platform for any unlawful purpose; (b) attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or any systems not designated for your use; (c) disrupt or degrade the performance of the Platform or its infrastructure; (d) upload or transmit malware, spam, or any harmful content; (e) harass, threaten, or abuse other users.

5. 05CTF & Challenge Rules

   All CTF flags and challenge solutions are for individual learning. You may not publicly share flag values or solutions for active challenges, use automated tools to brute-force flags, or collude with other users to obtain flags unfairly. Violations may result in score removal or account termination.

6. 06Terminal Instances

   Terminal instances (SSH environments) are provided for educational purposes only. You may not use them to attack external systems, mine cryptocurrency, host unauthorized services, or store personal data. Instances may be terminated at any time. We are not responsible for any data loss within terminal environments.

7. 07Certificates

   Certificates issued by CyberAcad reflect completion of platform content and are not accredited by any external body. We reserve the right to revoke certificates if they were obtained through dishonest means.

8. 08Intellectual Property

   All platform content, including challenges, course material, and branding, is owned by CyberAcad or its contributors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without explicit written permission. User-submitted content remains yours; by submitting it you grant us a license to display it on the Platform.

9. 09Disclaimer of Warranties

   CyberAcad is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or fitness for a particular purpose. Use the Platform at your own risk.

10. 10Limitation of Liability

    To the fullest extent permitted by law, CyberAcad and its founders shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

11. 11Termination

    We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these terms, or for any other reason at our discretion. You may delete your account at any time from your profile settings.

12. 12Governing Law

    These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the appropriate courts, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in such courts.
