Nothin' But Nano?!

Nothin' but Nano?!

Linux is home to many text editors which can be used to write inside of files. The two most common default text editors are nano and vim. Both are relatively the same in the sense that you can edit files with them (obviously), but each has its own use cases that end up ushering preference from the user.

For the remainder of Intro to Linux, we'll be using nano for simplicity's sake. However, vim is still very noteworthy, and its uses will be elaborated on in another course.
