Unit 1 · The 5 W's!
Who's attacking, who's paid to stop them, what everyone's after, and why a regular person with a laptop is somehow part of the answer. No terminal in this one — it's the map, drawn before you start walking around.

Course outline
Introduction to Cybersecurity — 1 unit, 2 lessons. The orientation course, taken after Introduction to Linux. It covers the shape of the field rather than any tooling: the types of attacker and what each one is after, the defensive roles and what each is on the hook for, and why an ordinary user is both a target in their own right and a way into the company they work for. Assessment: multiple-choice questions.
